What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. LemDeals also uses similar technologies (localStorage, session storage) to remember your preferences and keep you signed in.
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function. These include your authentication session (Supabase), CSRF protection, cart/checkout state, and the announcement-strip dismissal flag. These cannot be turned off — without them sign-in and checkout do not work.
Functional
Remember your preferences: recent searches (localStorage), wishlist sync, recently viewed deals, and cookie-banner consent itself. Disabling these is fine; the site stays usable.
Analytics
We use a privacy-respecting analytics provider to understand which pages convert and where the experience breaks. IP addresses are truncated and we do not run cross-site advertising trackers.
Third parties
Stripe sets cookies on its hosted checkout pages for fraud prevention and PCI compliance. Embedded YouTube demo videos use the youtube-nocookie domain by default. We do not run Facebook, TikTok, or Google Ads pixels.
How to withdraw consent
Open the cookie preferences from the link in the footer at any time, or clear cookies in your browser settings. Withdrawing analytics or functional consent will not log you out.
Changes
If we add a cookie category we will re-prompt you. Material changes are announced in the announcement strip.
