    Corrections policy

We get things wrong. When we do, we fix them in the open.

    What we correct

    • Wrong price, refund window, tier limit, or stacking rule.
    • Wrong vendor status (live / paused / shutdown).
    • Misattributed quote or misstated source.
    • Broken claim about a methodology (vendor risk band, founder integrity score).

Typos, formatting nits, and link cleanups are fixed silently — they don't change the meaning of the piece.

How a correction looks on the page

    1. The inaccurate claim is corrected inline.
    2. A dated correction note is appended at the bottom of the article, before the citation footer.
    3. The page's dateModified is refreshed in the schema.
    4. If the claim was material (affected a purchase decision), we add a banner at the top of the article for 30 days.

    How to flag something

Email editorial@lemdeals.com with the URL and what's wrong. We aim to acknowledge within one business day and resolve within three.

    What we will not do

    • Quietly delete a piece because a vendor complained.
    • Rewrite history — old corrections stay visible on the page.
    • Strip a negative finding because the vendor bought a deal placement.
